MAKING COSTUME ORDERS AND TRADES

NITE OWLS: Sometimes we will use the same suit but different skirts and sometimes we will need two suits and skirts.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB: Each class (ballet, tap, so forth) will be assigned a specific suit and skirt/tutu for the performance. Please talk with your child first when making orders which routine they really want to perform for the recital before making costume orders.

NEW COSTUME ORDERS: All new students will need to purchase their first costume for the first performance. Costumes are reasonably priced. See details about reserved and trading costumes.

Return students that have costumes that are not presentable for trade (damaged or torn) will need to purchase new costume. Students of the club program may need to purchase new costume for second or third routine performance.

TRADING COSTUMES: All costume trade fee is $25.00 to trade from one season or class costume for another. For example, if you are trading cheer for spring, it requires a trade fee. But if you are trading cheer costume you already have, need new color or size, it is a free trade. Club parents can only free trade if costume is ballet for ballet, tap for tap, so forth.

RESERVED COSTUMES: To help cut down on costume costs and prevent bankruptcy on our trade program, we are now setting up costumes for reserved. If you trade in your cheer costume for spring costume, your cheer costume will be listed on our Costume for Sale and reserved with your child's name on the line. This means the costume is reserved specificly for you and your child for used fee cost. This allows parents and students to buy back costumes they traded for lower cost. Any student that is absent from the program after two season, reserved is voided costume is placed for sale for anyone to purchase.

FREE COSTUME TRADE: Free costume trade only works if you are trading for ballet/ballet, tap/tap, for Nite Owls spring for spring and Christmas for Christmas. We offer free trade so kids can exchange for the right size or color needed for that specific season.

TURNING IN COSTUMES FOR TRADE: Costume must be in good condition no signs of stress, tear, or abuse, this means the outside of the costume must be in good condition. Costumes that are damaged and no longer presentable to be worn will be denied. KKZ will still order a costume for your child but you will be billed for the full cost before collecting the costume. Please put costume in ziplock bag with your child's name on it. Failure to follow these instructions will result in loss of opportunity to have your child's costume placed on the reserved list. Any costume not labled or named it will be placed up for sale for anyone (not reserved). I have too many kids in the program do not expect my assistants to remember who turned in what costume.

SHOE TRADE: We will allow cross trading shoes (tap for ballet) fee of $5.00 or $10.00 dollars depending on what shoes your trading. Free shoe trade is only available for students trading (ballet for ballet) for different color or size. Cross trade (tap for ballet) if used shoes are available will allow free trade. Shoes must also be in good condition, any shoes in poor condition parent will be billed full cost for shoes before they are collected. Please spray shoes with shoe deorderant before turning them in, placed in ziplock bag with your child's name on the bag.
