** RULES: No one is allowed upstairs except to use restroom outside their scheduled time! No exceptions! **

NO ONE BACK STAGE: NO ONE is allowed backstage for any reasons at all. I have my reasons for this. For students that will be doing costume changes backstage I will call on students at 6:45 to start stacking boxes backstage to prepare for show time start. DO NOT bring your box backstage until 6:45. Any boxes brought backstage before 6:45 will be placed out in the audience area.

BALCONY OFF LIMITS: Only adults that are video taping or taking pictures are allowed on the balcony, no kids are allowed at any time for any reasons no exceptions! We do not want kids distracting adults video taping on the upper level.

BE IN PLACE: All dancers ages four and up must be in the seating area assigned according to routine order in designed spot in the audience by 6:45 show time start and within ten minutes after intermission start. Dancers not in the seating area ON TIME will miss out on being in the routine, we will not go looking for kids. Parents are responsible for making sure their kids are in the correct areas.

NO FOODS NO DRINKS: No food or drinks are allowed in the auditorium this is a school rule!

INSTRUCTOR IS OFF LIMITS: I need parents to be most understanding on this day I am very busy preparing for the show, working with volunteers and organizing and preparing. For every parent that has to ask me a question is every minute we may be late starting the show. It is asked that parents do not disturb me with questions before, during show and intermission time. Please seek volunteers helping out with the show.

NO SHOES, NO SUIT, NO SKIRT, NO SHIRT = NO DANCE: Rarely we have a show of disaster kids lose their costumes, shoes, so forth but it does happen. Please make sure this doesn't happen. Any dancers spotted with the wrong shoes or costumes on will not be permitted on the stage. All dancers must have the correct shoes and costume per routine to be accepted on the dance floor. Any one loses shoes or costume should consider it a learning lesson and work on better organization for the next show. There are shoes and tights for sale at the concession stand for students and parents having an emergency.

MANNERS SAY A LOT!: I make an attempt to check the upper level, audience area, waiting area, and other areas of the show day every half hour or sometimes fifteen minutes to see how everyone is behaving. Anyhow caught not following rules or kids that are running around the center unsupervised will be noted and warned. Students that are given two warnings (two shows in a row) will be suspended from the next performance, but only one performance. Please make sure you and your children have good manners during all performances. Please do not bring young children to the show early if possible.

PARENTS AND GUESTS: Parents of our performers are responsible for explaining our show rules and regulations to guests they invite to our show. Several times I had guests upset with me because they were denied access to the balcony or asked to move out of the student seating area. Again, manners at the show and respecting the hard work I put into the show need to be respected and guests need to be aware of our set up and system and also respect them.

PRESCHOOLERS: Front Row to the left side facing the audience are reserved, please keep them clear, they are set up for my family and for my daughter whom is a preschooler. If you see names on the seat please find another seat. All rows center of the auditorium for the first three rows are reserve for Preschoolers ONLY. We ask that parents seat preschoolers towards the isle for quick and easy access to leave and return to seating area. Please have family and friends sit in the middle of the seating areas reserved for you. Anyone that do not have preschoolers should not be seated in the first four rows of the auditorium.
